• Robert E. Mosby Jr., 61, of Charlottesville,
died Aug. 22. He retired in 1996 as a nuclear medicine assistant
chief technologist with 30 years of service.

Lionel Israel Rebhun, 76, of Charlottesville, died Aug. 29.
He was a professor of biology from 1970 until his retirement in
1996. Rebhun taught and did research almost every summer at the
Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Mass.
•
Downing Cox Jr., 79, of Charlottesville, died Sept. 1.
Cox, a well-known builder in the area, retired from the department
of Facilities Management.
