Artists show “Wizdumb”

In post-World War II America, West Coast artists paid more attention to the present than the past, mixing aesthetics of place with irony and humor. The U.Va. Art Museum has selected some works of California artists from its collection for a new exhibit, “Wizdumb from the West: Contemporary California Art,” on display through Dec. 22.
