Tuesday Evening Concert Series opens season

The Tuesday Evening Concert Series opens its 2003-04 season Sept. 30 with a return engagement of virtuoso violinist Gil Shaham and renowned pianist Akira Eguchi, in a program of Bach, Faure and Copland. The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in Old Cabell Hall Auditorium.

Although season tickets are sold out, seats are always available. Interested ticket buyers should call the Cabell Hall Box Office at 924-3984 beginning Sept. 16 to get on the waiting list for seats released by subscribers. Prices are $24-orchestra; $20-loge and balcony; and $10-students, partial-view seats and standing-room only. Student one-hour rush seats are $5.
