Wrestling superstar and Harvard graduate Chris Nowinski met with about 500 juniors, seniors and their teachers at Monticello High School on May 21 to discuss the significance of voting and participating in the civic process.

His visit was sponsored by U.Va.’s Center for Politics, which is partnering with the World Wrestling Entertainment’s Smackdown Your Vote campaign to increase civic awareness among America’s youth leading up to the 2004 election.
