For those supervisors and managers who need to take stock of their work lives and recharge their passion and purpose, U.Va.’s Leadership Development Center is offering a day-long retreat Aug. 18 devoted to “Leadership Renewal” to help individuals “rediscover passion, meaning and inspiration in work.” Joseph W. Harder, associate professor of business administration, and Hayden Woodward, a visiting lecturer, who co-facilitate Darden courses and executive programs on the “Spirit of the New Workplace,” will lead a morning of self-discovery and exploration about ways leaders can keep themselves energized in their lives and work.
