Bob Woodward to Lecture About Iraq War Motives

One of The New York Times’ “Best Investigative Reporters in America” will visit the University on Sept. 23. Journalist Bob Woodward, author of several best sellers, including “All the President’s Men” and “The Final Days,” will appear for the Thomas Jefferson Visiting Lecture Series in Old Cabell Hall at 7 p.m. to talk about his newest release, “Plan of Attack.” The book is a behind-the-scenes look at the president’s motivation for waging the war in Iraq. A book signing will follow the lecture, and copies will be available for purchase. The event is sponsored by the Speakers Committee of the University Programs Council.
