Art museum takes a break during holidays

U.Va.-Wise turns 50 this month


Legislative forum Jan. 7

Members of the University community will have an opportunity to ask questions of local legislators on Jan. 7. The forum, sponsored by U.Va.’s Office of State Governmental Relations, will take place at noon in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom. The discussion will feature University President John T. Casteen III and local legislators, including: Sen. Creigh Deeds, Sen. Emmett W. Hanger Jr., Del. Mitch Van Yahres, Del. Rob B. Bell III and Del. R. Steven Landes. Panel members will share perspectives about the issues facing the 2005 General Assembly, including those that impact the future of higher education and other state and local community issues.
