Dogwood Festival is coming up aces

U.Va.’s Intramural-Recreational Sports Department will host the Dogwood Tennis Tournaments 2005 as part of this year’s Dogwood Festival, an annual Charlottesville/Albemarle event. The tournaments bring the University and area communities together for exciting match play. Dogwood Tennis 2005 will be held at the Snyder Tennis Center, next to Memorial Gym on Emmet Street. The Tennis Singles Tournament will be held April 8-10 (entry deadline is April 1). The Double’s Tennis Tournament will be held April 22-24 (entry deadline is April 15). Singles entry fee is $15; doubles, $25 per team per event. Awards are given to the champions and finalists in each division.
