New faculty and staff are invited to resource fair April 19

New faculty and staff are invited to get an official “Welcome to U.Va.!” on April 19 at 2 p.m. in Newcomb Hall Theater. The New Faculty/Staff Welcome and Resource Fair is geared toward all new University Academic Division and Medical Center faculty and staff hired between Oct. 1, 2004 and Feb. 28, 2005. The formal program begins with introductions of senior management, followed by guest speaker Leonard W. Sandridge, executive vice president and chief operating officer. The program concludes with a 12-minute video produced for and by University faculty and staff. Approximately 40 University and University-related exhibitors will be on hand in the ballroom to provide information on topics ranging from employee benefits and services to social and cultural opportunities within the University community. For more information, contact Tonia Duncan-Rivers, employee relations counselor and NEO coordinator, at 924-4320 or at tdd3v@virginia.edu.
