A Physical Evening
Spice up your Tuesday evening with the kids at the 11th Annual National Physics Day Show on April 19. In celebration of National Physics Day, this event is a special family oriented physics demonstration show for the general public. Because of large crowds in recent years, there will be two identical shows this year — at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. in room 203 of the Physics building on McCormick Road. Parking is available in the parking garage on Emmett Street, or after 5 p.m. in the football stadium lots. Physics professors Steve Thornton and Robert Watkins and lecture demonstrator Mike Timmins will delight the crowd with exciting demonstrations, such as a laser light show, a high-powered magnetic can crusher and more.
