Financial aid workshop for employees

When: Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006; 6 to 8 p.m.

Where: Gilmer Hall; Room 130 (McCormick Rd.)

Student Financial Services will talk with U.Va. employees about student financial aid and the college admissions process. All employees intererested in education opportunities and financial aid options are invited to attend the workshop. Topics will include admissions, community colleges, how to apply, award letters, making cost comparisons, and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), among other subjects. Questions are welcomed and light refreshments will be provided. The event is free and no reservations are required.
