95-12-15:  EMPLOYEES GET EARLY PAYDAY


U.Va.'s salaried employees will be paid Dec. 22, due to this
year's increased decentralization. Normal check distribution
and direct deposit will take place that day, according to the
payroll department. 

Weekly wage employees will be paid Dec. 28, but should check
with their department to find out where to pick up their
checks. Should they need to get them from the Bursar's office,
it will be open Dec. 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. (A photo I.D. and
social security number are required.) Time sheets also will be
available at that time in the Registrar's office.
