Employee Self Service features
With the 11i.10 upgrade on April 24th comes the opportunity
to update more personal information on line.
You will see the following options, in addition to
Payslip
and Employee W2, on the Self Service menu:
- Personal Information: Includes updating your preferred
name, previous last name, marital status, phone
numbers, and main address
- Banking Information: Where you can update bank
information regarding where you want the University
to send your payroll and other deposits.
- Tax Form: Where you can change your federal
withholding information (W4 form). You will also have
the ability to view the W4 worksheets.
- My Information: Provides basic human resources
data for your viewing purposes only, including
organization, position, job, supervisor’s
name, grade, salary, performance rating, and the
date of last review.
A
new site for training registration
The training registration website is part of a new
application called Learning Management. On the Self
Service menu, you will see a section called “Learning,” with
a link below to “Learner Home.” You will
have the option to search a course catalog or type
in the class you want.
Forgot
your password?
Effective early May, you will be able to get
a password reset without calling the Help Desk. Just
click the
words “Forgot
your password?” on the Integrated System login
page, enter your user ID, and submit. You will receive
an email to confirm that you have asked for
a new password. Respond as instructed and be certain
the email processes (is sent). You will then
receive another email containing a new password. When
you log on with the new password, you will immediately
be instructed to change that password to a strong
password. It is strongly recommended that only
users with UVA registered email accounts use this
feature.

Another
way to unreserve PO/LPOs
Currently, you can unreserve POs and LPOs from the
Approve screen. Following the upgrade, there will be
a second way to unreserve. Open the PO/LPO and go to
Tools>Unreserve on the toolbar, leave the defaulted
date, and ignore the check box “Use Document
GL Date to Unreserve.” All PO/LPOs should be
unreserved before you make changes.
Award
field in PO summary and Requisition summary
Currently, you do not have the option of seeing the
Award field in PO Summary and Requisition Summary on
the distribution level. Following the upgrade, the
Award field will be available, using the Folder menu
-> Show Field. You will then be able to see the
complete PTAEO from the summary screens. ISDS will
set up basic folders in each of these screens for general
use.
