Running Oracle Processes and Reports

In this section, you will learn how to access, run, and view
standard Oracle Processes and Reports.

There is another application, Oracle Discoverer, in which there
are many other reports. In Oracle Discoverer you have the ability
to run and view pre-defined reports from the database as well as
create your own reports. There are two classes offered to help
with using Discoverer: ODS Viewer will help you learn how to run
and view pre-defined reports in Discoverer; ODS2 will help you learn
how to create your own reports. Oracle Discoverer is not covered in
this course.

Steps:

  1. Each module in the Integrated System contains standard processes and reports. These processes and reports are specific to the expansibility. In other words, if you are logged into the Integrated System as a UVA PO Purchaser, you will only see the reports and processes available to you under that responsibility. You will not see ALL standard processes and reports.   Step 1
  2. Expand the list under Reports.

Click the + Reports list item.   Step 2
  3. Double-click the Run list item.   Step 3

Click the Once option.   Step 12
  13. If you choose to the "Once" option, you have the ability to specify the date and time you want to run the job.   Step 13
  14. Click in the Run At field.   Step 14
  15. Click the ... button.   Step 15
  16. The list of values for any date field is the calendar.    Step 16
  17. Click the Cancel button.   Step 17
  18. Click the Periodically option.   Step 18

  25. Click the Cancel button.   Step 25
  26. When you are ready to run the process or report, you will submit it.

Click the Submit button.   Step 26
