Working with Attachments

There are times that you need to attach additional information to forms in the Integrated System. You have the ability to attach text, files, or website links to forms.

In this section you will learn how to open an attachment and add an attachment.

Steps:

  1. You use the paperclip icon on the toolbar to add or view an attachment.

    When the paperclip icon is shown with a piece of paper, the form already has an attachment. You can click on the icon to add another or to view the existing attachment.    Step 1
  2. Click the Attachments... button.   Step 2
  3. To open the document, ensure that it is selected and click on the Open Document button.

  4. Click the New button.

    Note: You will not have to do this step when you are adding the first attachment.   Step 4
  5. The Sequence, 20, and the category, Miscellaneous, have been entered for you.

    Enter the desired information into the Description field. Enter "example".   Step 5

  7. The Data Type field has a short list of values from which you can select the type of attachment.

    Click the Data Type button.   Step 7
  8. Click the Short Text list item.   Step 8
  9. Click the OK button.   Step 9
  10. When you choose either Short Text or Long Text as the Data Type for the attachment, you will enter the information in this window.

    In this example, the text has been entered for you.   Step 10
  11. You must save your work after completing all of the fields for the attachment.

    Click the Save button.   Step 11

    Select the attachment you want to delete.
    Click an entry in the row.   Step 12

  15. The attachment has been deleted.   Step 15
