A responsibility is a predefined set of data, menus, and forms which define levels of authority in the Integrated System (IS). Responsibilities are hierarchical, so, as a rule, you require one responsibility for an IS module. There are a few exceptions to this rule. The rule and its exceptions are built into ESHARP. Training is responsibility-based.
Follow these three steps to prepare for your Integrated System responsibilities: 1 Find the responsibility that you need, 2 request the responsibility through ESHARP, 3 enroll in and take the required training for the responsibility you have requested.
