Why is my new assignment not showing on the timecard?
If the employee timecard has been saved (at any time), no new assignment information will show when you query the timecard. Users can add a line to enter new assignment(s) with current information.

How can I tell which assignment on the timecard is in which organization?
You have two options: 1. Go to view people, enter the employee's information, then click on the assignment button and use the arrow keys to toggle between assignments to see which one is for your organization. 2. Print the LD Employees Assignments and Companies report.

When an employee earns overtime or comp time, what do I put in the Hours Type field?
If the employee is eligible to receive overtime (i.e., they have worked more than 40 physical hours in a week), they can receive either Overtime Leave (non-exempt employees only) or Overtime Pay. Both are calculated by the system to give the employee 1 and 1/2 hours for every hour worked. If the employee is going to get leave, select Overtime Earned from the list of values for the Hours Type field. If the employee is going to get pay, select Overtime Time and Half from the list of values for the Hours Type field.

If the employee is eligible for compensatory pay or leave (i.e, they have worked outside their normal work schedule, but NOT more than 40 physical work hours in a week) select Overtime Straight Rate from the list of values for the Hours Type field, if they are to be paid for the extra hours worked, and Comp Earned if they are to receive Compensatory Leave.

Are the Total Hours processed supposed to equal the Total Hours generated?
Not necessarily. If, when you save a timecard, you get a message that indicates that the Total Hours processed does not match the Total Hours generated for the timecard, ensure that you have entered the hours correctly and then click on the Yes button to continue saving the changes. Do NOT change the hours in the Total Hours field as the message says. This message simply means that the total number of hours processed (or covered) by the timecard (the hours entered by the timekeeper) does not match what the system generated for the timecard. You may get this message if you enter comp or overtime hours on an employee's timecard

Do I datetrack when entering employees' time?
Do NOT datetrack when entering employees' time. When asked if you want to change the effective date, click on the No button.
