1. Select [My Computer] then, select [Save].

NOTE: Whenever possible, select My Computer and not Database if you can share the modified report with others in your department by shaving it to a shared, local network drive. This will make your modified PDR easier to retrieve and will protect it from inadvertent deletion when the ODS must be refreshed or modified. This also helps system administrators to retain in the ODS database only those PDR intended for university-wide use.

2. Choose a folder on your local PC or a shared network drive as the destination for your modified PDR.

3. In the File Name field, key a unique file name for the report followed by the Discoverer file extension: .DIS

EXAMPLE: FMExpDetlByProj_Aug01.DIS

4. To retrieve your modified PDR, simply open Discoverer, then:

M ® File ® Open ® My Computer ® Open
Open

5. Double click the file name of your previously modified PDR.
