The Chief Human Resource Officer is responsible for ensuring that this document is necessary, reflects actual practice, and supports University policy.
Employee timecards are generated in a batch process in IS Time Management through a process called Automatic Time Card Generation, more commonly referred to as AutoGeneration. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for AutoGenerating timecards. Timecards should be generated every day for the current pay period so that new hires will have a pre-generated timecard.
The Automatic Timecard Generation process is run as a nightly process, but at times must be run manually by the Payroll Administrator or Payroll Specialist.
