1. Click the browse button:

3. Select the HR.Approvals for Hires and Salary
Changes report.
4. Select [Open].

Select [Yes]. The Edit parameter values will appear.

7. Enter the employee type.

0 = All Employee Types
-
1 = Student and Faculty Wage
-
2 = Salaried and Wage
Classified
-
3 = Salaried Faculty
8. Enter an Organization. The organization should be entered like
‘40400%’..
9. Select [OK].

10. Review the report. The columns are as follows
-
Reviewed:
Indicates whether the Reviewed field on Add'l Salary Admin. Details form
was completed. This is the first level
of approval and is required for all Salaried and Wage Classified and Salaried
Faculty salary change proposals.

Approved:
Indicates whether the Approved checkbox on the Salary Management form
has been checked. This is the final
level of approval and is required for all salary change proposals.

Y = Approved by First Reviewer
-
N = Not Approved by First Reviewer
-
Blank = No action taken by First Reviewer
-
N = Not Approved by Final Approver

Full Name:
The name of the employee with an unapproved salary change proposal.

Assignment Number: The employee assignment number.
-
Staff Type: The staff type.
-
Organization: The organization of the assignment with the
salary change proposal.
-
Salary Change Reason: The reason for the
change in salary.
-
Salary (Current Value): The employee’s
current salary.
-
Salary (New Value): The employee’s new
salary.
-
Hourly (Current Value): The employee’s hourly salary.
-
Hourly (New Value): The employee’s new
hourly salary.
-
Dollar Difference: The difference between
the old salary and the new salary.
-
Percentage Salary Difference: The
percentage difference between the old salary and the new salary.
-
Salary Change Date: The date the new salary
is effective.
-
Assignment Change Reason: The change reason
entered on the assignment.
-
Pay Band: The employee’s pay band.
-
Salary Basis: The employee’s salary basis.
-
Number of Goal Pay Periods: The number of
goal pay periods.
-
Number of Work Months: The employee’s
number of work months.
-
People Group: The value that is in the
employee’s people group.
-
Job Title: Defines the state role title for classified employees
and the job title for faculty.
-
Career Group/Rank: Defines the state career group for the classified role
title, or the specific academic rank for faculty employees.
-
Formal Faculty Title: The title recognized
by the Board of Visitors.
-
Work Title: The employee’s work title.
-
Appointment Type: The faculty appointment
type.
-
Position Number: The employee’s position
number.
-
Grade Type: The employee’s grade.
-
Payroll: The employee’s payroll.
-
EOP Reference Number: The number assigned
to the employee by the EOP Office.
-
EOP Exemption End Date: The exemption end
date assigned to the employee by the EOP Office.
-
EOP Exemption Reason: The exemption reason
assigned to the employee by the EOP office.
-
Created By: The computing id of the
employee who entered the new salary.
-
Created By Name: The name of the employee who entered the new salary.
-
Creation Date: The date the new salary was
entered.

11. If you wish to print the report, select the
Print icon on the toolbar, or select Print from the File menu.
12. When you have finished reviewing the report you
may close Discoverer and any reports still open by selecting Exit from the File
menu.
