The Chief Human Resource Officer is responsible for ensuring that this document is necessary, reflects actual practice, and supports University policy.
When hiring employees, they may already be found in the database. For example, they may be current employees, applicants, ex-employees, or retirees. If you find the person you wish to hire in the database, find the person type (in the Type field on the People form) and refer to the following chart to determine what steps to take when hiring.
