The Chief Human Resource Officer is responsible for ensuring that this document is necessary, reflects actual practice, and supports University policy.
Using the UVA Payroll Process Control Sheet
The UVA Payroll Process Control Sheet is a checklist that ensures the UVA HRMS Payroll Specialist and UVA HRMS Payroll Administrator follow the steps for payroll processing in the required order. The control sheet should be printed and completed for each payroll. The control sheet contains a description of the required parameters when running processes and reports, and separate columns for each payroll.
When the Payroll Specialist or the Payroll Administrator completes a step they should initial and date the control sheet. Completed control sheets will be maintained in the Payroll Division.
