1/23/09, 3:30 p.m.

HR users: The labor for the January 2009 biweekly payroll will be imported on Monday, January 26, 2009, due to a processing error. Departments should be able to see the charges on Tuesday’s Discoverer reports.

01/12/09, 7:30 a.m.

For all Grants Accounting users: FM reports have been updated to include all supplier invoices and payment vouchers on sponsored Program awards. You may now rerun the December month-end reconciliation reports.

01/08/09, 4:00 p.m.

For all Grants Accounting users:
Sponsored Program Awards (those that start with “G”): Discoverer FM reports for December 2008 are currently missing information on supplier invoices and payment vouchers on Sponsored Program awards processed from December 1st through December 8th. We are rebuilding the December month-end reporting tables this weekend, and all reports will include these supplier invoices and payment vouchers on Monday, January 12th.  You must rerun the December month-end reconciliation reports to see the missing data.

December Payroll Encumbrances: Payroll encumbrances on Discoverer FM reports for December 2008 do not include the associated fringe benefits for any awards except Sponsored Program awards that include F&A expenses. Unfortunately, these fringe benefit encumbrances cannot be recreated, so you should manually calculate the missing fringe benefits if it is critical that the December BBA and Expenditure Detail reports include them.

In order to resolve a payroll processing issue, the UVA HRMS Specialist and UVA HRMS Faculty/Staff Reviewer responsibilities will be disabled effective immediately until 12:30 p.m. today.

PO Shoppers: The UVA Marketplace will be unavailable from 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27th while maintenance is performed on the SciQuest catalog system.

12/9/08, 8:15 a.m.

Downtime for HR Users, December 14 and 15:  The Integrated System will be unavailable to holders of the IS responsibilities of UVA HRMS Faculty/Staff Reviewer, UVA HRMS Specialist, and UVA HRMS Timekeeper on Sunday, December 14, and Monday, December 15, due to system maintenance and the conversion of position and employee records to the new University Staff structure.  It is anticipated that the system will be available again beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16.

11/16/08, 12:00 p.m.

The Integrated System is now available following system maintenance. Effective today, new software (JRE) is required for accessing forms. JRE will automatically download when you first log onto the IS. To access a list of frequently asked questions about JRE, please click here. There are two known issues that you may encounter with JRE:1. Cursor focus issue – when you first open a form from the Integrated System home page, you will not see the cursor blinking in the first field. You must click in the field in order to activate the cursor so that you may begin keying data. In most cases, the cursor will be active on subsequent forms, but if it is missing, click in the field you wish to make active. ISDS is working to resolve this issue.

2. For LD users only – there is an issue with the LD Labor Schedule form. When entering a labor schedule for an employee who has never had a labor schedule defined before, after you select the schedule hierarchy and save, you cannot key in the PTAEO region. You must close the schedule lines form, which returns you back to the labor scheduling form. Then click on the “schedule lines” button again, and you will be able to key in the PTAEO region. This issue will be corrected December 14.

11/14/08, 1:30 p.m.

Extended downtime/New JRE: The Integrated System will be unavailable from 2:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, until noon on Sunday, November 16, as new software (JRE) is installed for accessing forms. The JRE will automatically download when you first log onto the IS anytime after noon on 11/16. There are two known issues that you may encounter with JRE:1. 10/1/08, 7:40 a.m.

Good news! Extended published hours for ODS: ODS published hours have been extended, effective today. Hours are now Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Sunday, 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m. In addition, due to improvements in processes and hardware speed, data in the ODS is no longer one day behind. ODS data now includes the previous days transactions.

PO Shoppers: In case you plan on purchasing at 9:00 p.m. tomorrow night, Saturday, 9/27, the Marketplace will be undergoing maintenance by SciQuest for a short time, and the system may be slow or unavailable from a couple minutes to an hour.

The /interface directory on isp-ods.admin.virginia is currently unavailable due to system maintenance. We anticipate it being available again at 7:00 p.m. this evening.

Marketplace downtime, August 1 - 3:  The UVa Marketplace will be unavailable between 10:00 p.m. Friday, August 1st and 12:00 noon Sunday, August 3rd, while SciQuest completes a system upgrade.  Look for additional information coming your way about changes you can expect to see as a result of this upgrade.

06/30/08, 10:00 a.m..

The system will be unavailable to all users from Monday, June 30th at 10 p.m. until Tuesday, July 1st at 3 a.m. as part of year-end close.

05/19/08, 11:15 a.m.

For Users printing POs: The concurrent request named “UVA Printed Purchase Order Report(Landscape),” which is used to print Oracle purchase orders, will be unavailable on Tuesday, May 20, 5:00 p.m., through Wednesday, May 21, 7:00 a.m., and on Wednesday, May 21, 4:30 p.m. through Thursday, May 22, 7:00 a.m., to allow for system maintenance. You will receive an email with alternative ways to print POs during these time periods.

05/18/08, 9:40 p.m.

Production is available following extended downtime.

05/12/08, 10:00 a.m.

Extended Downtime: Production will not be available this Sunday, May 18, beginning at 3:00 a.m., for maintenance. It will be available again at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, May 19. ODS will be available during its normal time (from noon until 6:30 p.m. on Sunday).

05/11/08, 12:15 p.m.

Production is available following a hardware upgrade.

05/08/08, 4:00 p.m.

Extended downtime May 11: The Integrated System will be down this Sunday, May 11th for an additional 3 hours - until 3pm - for a hardware upgrade.  ODS will be available as usual (from 12:00 noon - 6:30 p.m.).

All UVA HRMS Timekeepers, please note: because the system will be unavailable later than normal this week, your timekeeper responsibility will remain active this Sunday until 8pm for timecard entry.

4/16/08, 9:55 a.m.

Timekeepers and HRMS Specialists: Due to a welcome error, paychecks for the biweekly pay period of March 26 through April 8 were direct deposited into employee bank accounts on Tuesday, April 15, instead of Friday, April 18.  This affects temp, wage, student, and certain goal pay employees.  The funds are available for use now and all paycheck amounts are correct.  If you or the affected employees have any questions, contact Payroll at 924-4350.

4/6/08, 3:10 p.m.

Production is now available. Per the prior downtime notice, ODS will be unavailable for the remainder of the day.

4/3/08, 1:00 p.m.

Extended downtime Sunday, April 6: In order to increase the space available for production data, there will be extended downtime for both production and ODS this Sunday, April 6th. ODS will be unavailable all day, and production is planned to be unavailable until 3:00 p.m.

The phone issues with the Integrated System Customer Support Center are resolved - all calls are now routing properly.

Due to phone issues, calls to the Integrated System Customer Support Center are intermittently failing. Work is underway to attempt to resolve the problem.

Production interruption of service: from 1:07p.m. until 1:31p.m. today, the production application was unavailable due to system complications related to a power failure in Carruthers Hall.

Friday, February 15, is the last business day you will be able to use Discoverer 4.1.  Beginning Monday, February 18, you must be on the new version, 10.1.  You are encouraged to log on to the new version and run a report from the database to ensure you are ready for the transition.
