Associate professor in the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce teaches a class that is designed to give students with a marketing or international business concentration a close-up view of consumer behavior and cross-cultural marketing strategies in China. The syllabus combines classroom discussions, presentations by business executives, visits to companies, and informal excursions into Beijing's streets to give students an introduction to marketing on a street level.
