The Institute seeks to encourage ethical inquiry and integrate ethics into the curriculum at every level of study. Interdisciplinary faculty working groups support research, scholarship and the development of new interdisciplinary courses, programs, and projects.
The Institute sponsors faculty working groups and programs in the areas of:

PROGRAMS
The Institute's many programs include courses and lectures, seminars,
etc. Information about courses can be found under Courses,
while information about current and future lectures, seminars, etc.,
can be found under Calendar.
2008-2009. The Institute will put on several lectures on Liberty and Coercion in Public Health. In addition, two lecturers will visit under the Hollingsworth Lectureship-- Professor Tom L. Beauchamp (Kennedy Institute of Ethics, Georgetown University), whose visit is September 11 and 12, and Professor Willis Jenkins (Yale University Divinity School), whose lecture on environmental ethics is scheduled for November 20, 2008. Further Information on their presentations will be provided on this website in the near future.
Institute seminars for faculty and graduate students are generally held on Friday-- check updates on the calendar.
