Multicultural Events Calendar highlights events with an international or intercultural focus held at the University and in the Charlottesville/Albemarle community. It is a bi-weekly email produced fall and spring semesters by The Lorna Sundberg International Center, a unit of U.Va.'s International Studies Office, to promote the diversity of the University and Charlottesville/Albemarle community. All affiliates of the University (students, faculty and staff) and Charlottesville/ Albemarle residents are welcome to subscribe and to submit events to the calendar.

Submission criteria
Events posted on the bi-weekly calendar are not for the recruitment of individuals. Events are for the enjoyment and participation of the whole community with no emphasis on any particular culture, religion or political affiliation. All event submissions will be subject to editing.
Please submit your announcements by the Wednesday before each calendar start date using the following format:
- Name of Event
- Organized by
- Date and Time
- Location
- Description of Event: (under 60 words)
- Fee (if any)
- Contact info
- Event or Organization URL (if any)
