Registration

All new international students of any status are required to attend a check-in session (registration session schedule). Failure to attend will have serious consequences for any status that is related to the University and will cause any international student's registration at the University to be blocked.

Prior to attending a check-in session, students should bring the following to the ISO:

1. Your passport with your visa stamp
4. Your I-94 card
5. Any current Forms I-20, DS-2019 or I-797
6. Any receipt notices (Forms I-797C) for applications to change or extend status

Students who fail to bring the above materials to the ISO before attending a check-in session will be asked to surrender their passports and documents at the check-in session. All students must bring the following to the international student check-in:

1. Passport
2. Visa stamp
3. I-94 card
4. Any current Forms I-20, DS-2019 or I-797
5. Any receipt notices (Forms I-797C) for applications to change or extend status

Documents not already photocopied will be surrenderred and available to pick-up at the ISO about three business days after the check-in session. Because ideally students should have documentation of their status available at all times, the ISO strongly encourages students to bring the requisite documents to the ISO for photocopying before attending a check-in session.
