Financial Aid for January Term Courses

To be considered for January Term aid a student must:

  • Complete the online January Term 2009 Application for Financial Aid and return it to the Office of Student Financial Services by October 10, 2008 for priority consideration.
  • Have a 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form on file.
  • Be a registered undergraduate student at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.

Additional Information:

  • Students who apply by the priority filing date will be notified about their eligibility by the week of November 3, 2008.
  • Students awarded financial aid for the January Term must enroll in the subsequent Spring semester. If for any reason a student does not enroll, his/her financial aid eligibility will be terminated and all funds cancelled.
  • Students whose financial aid for January Term does not cover the entire cost of their January Term course must pay the balance at registration (Nov. 10 - 14, 2008).
