Registration and Payment Procedures
Registration dates for January Term 2015 are being determined. Detailed information will be provided here as soon as it becomes available Registration will be completed through the Student Information System (SIS).
Students may register for only one January Term course.

Students who register for a January Term non study abroad course pay by the credit hour. January Term courses are generally three-credit courses. Current UVa students are not charged an additional activity fee. Visiting students will pay an activity fee for January Term as listed below.
Registration and payment are completed through UVa’s Student Information System (SIS). Instructions on registration and payment are provided in the acceptance email.

Registration and Payment for Study Abroad Courses
Students accepted to a J-Term study abroad program are responsible for study abroad tuition and program fees once they have committed to participation in a program. Committed students are registered in the SIS by the International Studies Office; students may view their bills in the SIS through student self-service. Payment is made to Student Accounts. For January Term programs, the following payment schedule applies:
- 30% of tuition and fees plus airfare at 100% (when included in the program price) is due 15 days from registration.
- The remaining 70% of tuition and fees is due by 12/1/2014.
