REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES MINOR:
1) Language: Either SPAN 202 or PORT 212, or the
equivalent
2) 18 semester credit hours of courses in the
Latin American
field offered by the departments of Anthropology, Economics, English,
Politics,
History, Spanish, Portuguese and others. No more than 9 credit hours in
any one
department may be counted towards the minor. Students must take courses
in at
least three departments. Only the classes included in the course
description
count for the minor (check listing or ask your advisor).
