Leadership Development Center
Our Mission and Goals
The task of leadership is not to put greatness into people, but to elicit it, for the greatness is there already.

  • Opening the pathway for enhanced communication and open dialogue of leadership challenges faced by you in your decision making roles.

Goals: Our leadership development initiatives share five goals:

  • To provide opportunities to develop best practices associated with leadership roles and responsibilities;
  • To improve the outcomes associated with the investment in professional development;
  • To enable leaders to manage organizational change and improvement efforts and to better evaluate the results of those undertakings;
  • To build relationships and interdependencies across the grounds of the University and to foster a greater sense of community;
  • To develop Leadership Networks as strategic resources for the University, capable of contributing to the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives.
