Our approach begins with seeing you as our partner in the design and execution of leadership and organizational development services. As our client, we strive to ensure that we understand your goals and work environment to maximize value and to ensure successful outcomes. As internal consultants, we guarantee complete confidentiality in our approach based on your needs and expectations.
Step 1: Initial Consultation Upon receiving an inquiry from an organization, we will arrange a confidential meeting with the person initiating the request. This may include other members of your staff deemed stakeholders in the process. At the meeting, we will ask about the issues, background and goals for the organization and the nature of the consultation needed. We will also ask about the specific expectations of our consultants, and discuss what we can offer to meet your needs.
Step 2: Needs Assessment Sometimes the issues that an organization faces are complex, and an informational meeting is not enough for us to create a detailed work plan that is inclusive of all the factors at play. In those cases, we will recommend an assessment of the people affected in order to give us deeper understanding of the issues at hand. This allows us to create a better proposal to focus our planning and to address the important issues for your organization. We typically keep assessments brief and inexpensive so clients spend money addressing issues rather than just identifying them.
Step 3: Design and Planning Following our initial assessment, we will identify the appropriate consultant(s), build a delivery team and develop a work plan and proposal that identifies organization objectives, tasks, services and costs. This serves as a tool for discussions, refinements and future working relationships. When you agree to the final work plan, we will schedule the program or intervention and our consultation begins.
Step 4: Delivery Services begin when all parties agree on the design and approach for the work at hand. Most services are delivered within your organization or in a learning space within the University community. In some cases, off-site locations are selected based on the needs of our clients. Whether on a one time basis or a long term engagement, our staff will work on within your organization based on pre-arranged dates built around various meetings, events, and the need for ongoing consultation.
Step 5: Evaluation and Ongoing Support At the conclusion of our work, we will provide you with final recommendations and concluding assessments. When programs are complete, we will bill for our services and provide consultation on additional steps. Also we will provide ongoing support and periodic check-ins when further follow-up is necessary to ensure a successful outcome. We may also suggest you or your staff attending one of our Leadership Workshops & Conferences or to take part in our Executive Coaching Service.
Fees:
As an internal organization serving the greater University community, our fees for services are priced below market value as compared to an external provider offering similar services. Fees are charged for all programs with discounts for members of our leadership networks. Where necessary, we will work to ensure that our services fit within your budget in order to meet your fiscal needs.
