Finals Weekend 2015 Announcements
Terry McAuliffe and Bob Bruner:
Keynote Speakers at Final Exercises Ceremonies
Based on the results of a spring 2014 survey of students graduating in 2015 and later, the University will begin a new tradition this year. Instead of one Final Exercises ceremony, the University will now hold two: one for the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and one for the other 10 schools. That means, two featured speakers.
On Saturday, May 16, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe will address the graduates of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. On Sunday, May 17, Bob Bruner, the dean of UVa's Darden School of Business, will speak to the graduates of the University's other 10 schools, plus the first graduates from UVa's Data Science Institute.
