AureliaRaised in Fairfax, Virginia, Aurelia Massoudi-Khorsand is a fourth-year in the Cavalier Marching Band. She graduated with honors from WT Woodson High School in 2009, where she served as drum major for two years for the Marching Cavaliers under the direction of Melinda McKenzie-Hall. She was a clarinet player in the Symphonic Band, and participated in the All-District Symphonic Band and Virginia All-State Band.

As a member of the Cavalier Marching Band, Aurelia has served as drill instructor and section leader for the clarinet section, and is currently a member of the office staff. In addition, she performs with the UVa Wind Ensemble and HOOps Band. During the summer, Aurelia is a counselor at the Cavalier Band Camps.

Outside of the Cavalier Marching Band, Aurelia is an active Brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Fraternity, and lives in a language community for Persian and Chinese speakers. Aurelia is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Affairs with a Middle East concentration, and attends the McIntire Business Institute Academic Year Program.

Stefani BellStefani Bell will be a Third Year at the University. Growing up in Clarke County, Virginia, she started playing trombone in 5th grade. In 8th grade she began marching in the Screamin' Eagles Marching Band under the direction of Mark Curry and Greg Abell. She served as trombone section leader her sophomore year and drum major her junior and senior year. She was also a member of the CCHS Jazz Band, Indoor Drumline, Concert Band, and Varsity Swim Team.  

Stefani transferred to UVA after spending her first year at the University of Florida, where she played baritone in the Gator Marching Band and trombone in the UF Trombone Studio and Symphonic Band. Now a whole-hearted Wahoo, Stefani plays trombone in the Wind Ensemble and HOOps Band. Outside of band, Stefani is a brother of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity and Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Service Fraternity. Next year she will be serving the University as a member of Third Year Class Council and as a Transfer Student Peer Advisor. Stefani is double majoring in English and Italian Studies.

Cameron LouttitA third-year student from Murrysville, PA, Cameron Louttit is entering his first season as Drum Major of the Cavalier Marching Band. He was a member of the saxophone section for his first two years, serving as Section Leader his second year as well as a member of Banquet Staff. He also plays the alto saxophone for the HOOps Basketball Band as well as the Olympic Sports Band and is a counselor for the Summer Cavalier Band Camps.

Cameron graduated in 2010 from Franklin Regional Senior High School and was a four-year member of the Franklin Regional Panther Marching Band under the direction of Mr. Kevin Pollock. He was selected as one of three Drum Majors his junior year and continued to serve in this role his senior year, when the band marched in the 2009 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Outside of the CMB, Cameron is a worship leader with UVA’s Catholic Student Ministry and participates in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He is majoring in Biomedical Engineering and conducts research under the advising of Dr. Richard Price.

Kemper Steffe

Born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, Kemper Steffe is a fourth year Biology major in the College of Arts and Sciences. He graduated in 2009 from Patrick Henry High School where he marched baritone and sousaphone as a member of the PHHS Marching Patriots under the direction of Sharon Johnson. He served as the low brass section captain his sophomore, junior and senior years. He was a member of the concert band and also played in the PHHS Orchestra for four years as a member of the Double Bass section. 

Kemper has been a member of the Cavalier Marching Band since his first year. He served as one of the Section Leaders for the baritone section during his second and third years.

Outside of the Cavalier Marching Band, Kemper was employed by the Office of Residence Life as a Resident Advisor for his second and third years. He also worked as a student bus driver for the University Transit Service during parts of his first, second and third years. Additionally, he is an active participant at the Wesley Foundation, the On-Grounds United Methodist student organization. Wahoowa!
