Parking

Game day parking is always a bit tricky.

- Unless you have a parking pass, there is no parking around Scott Stadium.  These are paid tailgating spots.

- The parking garage at the bookstore charges hourly but is centrally located between the practice field and football stadium.

- University Hall (the old basketball stadium) is an option with free parking.  Many people choose to park here and walk behind the turf field hockey field to Carr's Hill practice and then along Alderman Road back to the parking lot after the game.  There are shuttles that run between the stadium and the lot, but your best bet is to walk (approximately one mile).

- If you are planning on directly going to Scott Stadium or O'Hill Dining Hall, Fontaine Research Park has parking (it's been free in the past).

- Many students living near the stadium will sell parking spots for the day for approximately $20-$50.

Check out the following maps of UVa here.

Handicapped Parking Options

There is a free parking lot for vehicles with a DMV handicap placard in a UVa lot near The Park (corner of Arlington Blvd and Massie Rd).  A free shuttle will run between that location and Scott Stadium starting two hours before the game.

Tickets

If you do not have season tickets, your student can buy student guest tickets!  Also, individual game tickets and mini-packages can be purchased through www.virginiasports.com.  The CMB will be selling tickets for the Boston College game on November 14th as part of high school Band Day.  Please email Ed Savoy @ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or call the band office at (434) 982-5347 to reserve a ticket at $25 apiece.  Tickets are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
