International Bands

The Cavalier Band will be traveling to BRAZIL in May 2013. This is an exciting opportunity to travel internationally with a UVA group and to share our music with other cultures. The band will depart Washington, DC on Friday, May 10 and fly to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There will be many exciting items on our itinerary including a boat trip up the Amazon, beach time, sightseeing, other group activities, and concert put on by the band in the oldest theater in the Americas. Rehearsal for the tour will take place during the 2013 spring semester and depend on the rehearsal sites and scheduling. Please see below for the preliminary itinerary.
