Band Day Experiences

I just got home from Band Day and had to drop you a note to say "INCREDIBLE" ... and thank you!  In 20 years in the Marines I had more
than my fair share of experience in moving large numbers of people around and I've never seen anything quite like the way your group ran
today's Band Day.  From check-in, rehearsal, movement to Slaughter, lunch, performance and back, I simply cannot believe how efficiently
everything ran.  Of course, the highlight was the tremendous program you did for our high school kids.  We had a large group from Deep Run
High School and they were all pumped up and ready to join the CMB!

I am SO glad that Mr. Ransome included my son in the program and know that my son -- and I -- had an experience that we'll never forget.  I
hope that you'll pass along to your staff how impressed we were with their helpfulness and professionalism.  They set a great example of
what UVA is all about!

What a wonderful event you pulled off-again.
I really enjoyed hearing the kids play some music in the stands.  I was across from the CMB and it sounded great way down there.
