Melissa Kendall Laboratory
Kendall Lab UVA

Welcome to the Kendall lab home page. We are in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Cancer Biology at the University of Virginia. We are broadly interested in how enterohemorrhagic E. coli O157:H7 (EHEC) integrates host- and bacterial-derived signals to coordinate expression of virulence genes. Our projects generally involve a mix of experimental approaches, ranging from genetics, biochemistry, microscopy, and bioinformatics. Please explore our website to find out more about the lab’s ongoing research and the people doing the work.
