For over a quarter of a century, the Charlottesville area community has gathered to celebrate the life and achievements of Dr. King. This year's featured speaker is Kweisi Mfume, former President/CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) as well as five-term Democratic Congressman.
The celebration will include a performance by the community choir, which is open to all singers in the community.
