FAFSA Completion Nights

Virginia College Advising Corps, an AmeriCorps program, will host two FAFSA completion nights as part of the MLK Day of Service.
A college education is an increasingly expensive investment for studentsand their families. A completed FAFSA (Free Application for Federal StudentAid) allowsthe U.S. Department of Education to determine a potential student’s eligibility for federalstudent aid. Key studies have indicated that FAFSA completion correlates strongly with college enrollment, particularly among low-income populations.
College Advisers from the Virginia College Advising Corps will be on-hand to assist students and their families with completing and submitting the FAFSA.
