The University community will celebrate the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through song as the Office of African American Affairs recognizes the impact and influence that gospel music had on  Dr. King's life. The evening will include performances from three outstanding choirs: Black Voices Gospel Choir (U.Va.), Black Awakening Gospel Choir (Virginia Commonwealth University), and UN2HIM (Charlottesville Community Chorus).
