Sarah Nalls Distinguished Major Recital

Sarah Nalls is a fourth-year student with a double major in Music and Spanish who has played piano for twelve years. Since beginning at UVa, she has been the accompanist for the Virginia Women's Chorus, as well as the University Chamber Singers, founded during spring of her second year. Sarah has also been accompanying the University Singers for the past year. While at the University of Virginia, she has continued her study of piano with Barbara Moore as well as began study of the organ and harpsichord with Paul Walker two years ago. Sarah toured France and Italy with the Virginia Women's Chorus in January of 2005. She has performed in a cabaret production at the Red Room at the Society Hill Playhouse and for summer camp productions at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has also performed with the Charlottesville and University Symphony Orchestra.

Roberts Scholarship Fund underwrites the private lessons and recital costs for undergraduate music majors giving a recital in their fourth year as part of a distinguished major program in music.
