McIntire Department of Music

 

Mary Anne Kidwell, a third year student at the University of Virginia double majoring in Music and Biology, will present an evening of flute repertoire ranging from the Baroque Era to the Twentieth Century. She has been playing for 11 years and is currently studying flute privately under Professor Alan Cox.  Mary Anne has participated in many ensembles at UVA including the Charlottesville and University Symphony Orchestra, the UVA Flute Ensemble, Opera Viva Pit Orchestra, and the Reel Music Ensemble.  The event will last for a little over an hour, including a fifteen minute intermission, and is free and open to the public.
