Leadership Team

Marsh Pattie, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs & Associate Dean of Students
Dean Pattie provides strategic leadership for Newcomb Centers & Services and has the great privilege to work with an outstanding team of students and colleagues in facilitating a vibrant community experience at the University. His additional responsibilities in the Office of the Dean of Students include crisis and student incident response, service in the Dean on Call rotation, investigation of hazing allegations and general advising and support for students and student organizations. He also helps to provide strategic planning and HR management for the Office of the Dean of Students.
Dirron Allen, Assistant Dean & Director of Student Activities
Dirron Allen provides leadership, supervision, planning, and assessment for the Student Activities unit in the Office of the Dean of Students. He is responsible for facilitating student participation in clubs and organizations. The team in Student Activities supports initiatives of the University Programs Council (UPC), After Hours events, Arts Board, the University Board of Elections (UBE), Women’s Leadership Development Program (WLDP), and the Blueprint Leadership Program. Dirron also provides support and guidance to Student Council.
Michael Kozuch, Director of Business Services & Operations
Michael provides strategic financial & operational leadership for the Office of the Dean of Students. More specific responsibilities include budget & financial management, event scheduling & planning, and facility operations.
Rick Reifenstein, Director of  Technology & Innovation
Rick serves as the Director of Technology for the Office of the Dean of Students and plays a key role in various decision-making capacities related to the technology infrastructure and information management within ODOS. The technology vision includes all IT procedures, practices, and procurement strategies, as well as maintenance of computers/hardware, software systems, and applications. Rick also leads an innovation team responsible for developing creative solutions to student and staff needs.
Hal Turner, Assistant Dean & Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life
Hal Turner is responsible for facilitating student participation in Greek Letter organizations and providing leadership, supervision, planning, and assessment for the Fraternity & Sorority Life unit. He also provides support to Greek letter organizations through the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to risk management, safety, chapter operations, and chapter facilities.
Alison White, Director of Marketing & Communications
Alison White’s responsibilities include management and production of  ODOS brand consistency, website development and updates, wayfinding/signage, and all print and social media. The Marketing team’s highest priority is to provide outstanding service & production through positive collaboration with faculty, staff, and students.
