The Student Activities Center
The Student Activities Center (SAC) is located on the first floor of Newcomb. The SAC is an excellent resource to help you get involved and meet other students who share your interests.
With over 600 student organizations, you will definitely find an organization that piques your interest. Browse the complete list of organizations. If you don't find the right group to meet your needs, come by the SAC to find out how you can start a new student organization.
University Programs Council (UPC)
UPC is the student-run programming board responsible for providing the University community with exciting, diverse, and entertaining programs. Membership is open to all UVA students. For more information visit UPC's website.
Looking for a way to get involved and make a little money? Newcomb provides a wide variety of leadership and learning opportunities through student employment, and there are countless other positions available to students at the University and in the community—many of them listed online at CAVLink.
