The Hall of Heroes is located in UVA's NROTC building - Maury Hall, Charlottesville, VA.

The Hall is dedicated to the heroes of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. The names and citations of fifteen Medal of Honor recipients can be found on the walls. Most of the heroes selected to be displayed in the Hall were junior officers of their respective services at the time they earned the Medal of Honor. Thus, all midshipmen that pass through the Hall can relate to these heroes, since they will shortly be junior officers themselves.

Members of the graduating class of 2001 constructed the Hall. It is meant to be an inspiration for those who pass through it for generations to come.
