Session H Parent/Guest · Wednesday, August 20

10:00 am – 2:30 pm

Check-In · Ern Commons-Alderman Road Residential Area

Park in the Slaughter Recreation Center lot and then walk over to Ern Commons to sign in, pick up orientation/academic information and students will pick up their ID. Following Check-In, help your student move directly into his/her assigned housing.

UVAExpress. International students and guests participating in Session H can take advantage of UVAExpress, a free, coordinated bus transportation and hospitality program for international students from Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC and Charlottesville Airport to the University of Virginia on Monday, August 18 and Tuesday August 19, 2014 Make sure to register on the UVAExpress website.

The program is coordinated by the University of Virginia's Office of Engagement. It is financially supported by an U.Va. alumnus in Singapore and the U.Va. Parents Committee.

International first year and transfer students and their families are invited to a casual dinner. Hosted by the University’s Office of Engagement, guests will have the opportunity to meet University faculty and staff, key University leaders, new classmates, and their families and student leaders. Please consider public transportation, walking or a taxi.
