Rebecca (Becca) White - Director

Becca, a graduate of U.Va, began her career in Parking & Transportation as a bus driver for the University's Transit Service (UTS) in 1982. She has been with the department for over 20 years, working her way to the Director of the Department of Parking & Transportation in 2001. As Director, she is responsible for all permit, transit, and facilities operations on both the academic and medical center campuses. Becca has served on the International Parking Institute's Board of Advisors and on the Board of Directors of the "Parking Association of the Virginia 's" for many years. Becca earned her CAPP (Certified Administrator of Public Parking) Certificate in 1998 after completing a rigorous program through the International Parking Institute and the University of Virginia 's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. She has given presentations on parking industry issues at regional and national annual parking conferences. She has provided consultation services to peer campus parking and transportation operations, and has published articles in national and regional publications.
