T4 and E3 Parking Lots at Scott Stadium
Located at Scott Stadium in the Carl Smith Center, the T4 and E3 lots are open for all theater patrons. These lots are normally permit enforced areas so please look for posted signage or lot attendants when entering the lots. For specific lot opening times, please contact the Parking and Transportation Office at (434) 924-7231.
The University Transit Service (UTS) runs free bus service from this lot to Cabell Hall on the Outer U-Loop. Patrons may use the Inner U-Loop for return service.
Directions to the T4 and E3 Lots: Utilize Exit 118B off of Interstate 64 and travel towards Charlottesville on the 29/250 Bypass. Take the first (immediate) exit off the bypass onto Fontaine Avenue. Turn right off the exit. At the second light, turn left onto Maury Ave. At the four-way stop sign, turn right onto Stadium Road. Turn left onto Whitehead Road, and the parking lot will be on your left.
Parking for Patrons with Disabilities
C1 Parking Lot
Located off McCormick Road behind Clark and Bryan Halls, the C1 parking lot is prioritized for disabled and limited mobility patrons and will require special permits for most events.
Old Cabell Hall also has handicapped access from the Lawn via a ramp into the west entrance of the lobby. Once entering the lobby, proceed to the right through a double doorway and take an immediate left, which leads to the Handicap Box in the Concert Hall.
Alternatively, entering from the C-1 parking lot, come up from the lot behind Bryan Hall. Follow the blue handicap signs into New Cabell Hall and up the ramp or the wheelchair lift. Cross the hallway and exit New Cabell through the door to the courtyard. From the courtyard, take the ramp to the end. Enter the door to Old Cabell Hall on the left and take the elevator up to the 6th floor.
It is recommended that handicapped patrons park at least an hour before the start of the concert to allow time to find their way to the Hall, pick up their tickets in Will Call if need be (also on floor 6), and find their seats in the handicapped box.
Impact on U.Va Permit Holders
C1 permit holders will be required to vacate the C1 lot to accommodate event parking for certain events at Old Cabell Hall. C1 permit holders may relocate to any other parking lot on grounds that is not considered an "all times" lot and is not reserved for another event. Please check the C1 Permit Holders information page for details and a schedule of applicable events.
At this time, event parking for Cabell Hall performances will not effect T4 or E3 permit holders.
