The Darden parking Garage is located next to the Darden Graduate School of Business Management off of Massie Road in North Grounds. Students enrolled in the Darden School may purchase a "D10" permit to park in this garage. Faculty and Staff of the Darden School are assigned these permits by the Darden School.

News and Updates

  • Annual Cleaning: The Darden School Garage will close to incoming traffic at 5:00PM on Friday, June 14. All vehicles must vacate the garage by 9:00PM on Friday, June 14. The garage will reopen at 4:00PM on Sunday, June 16. D10 permit holders may park in the nearby D1 parking lot during this closure.

Directions to the Darden School Garage

Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and merge onto the Route 29/250 Bypass towards Charlottesville. Take the "Leonard Sandridge Road" exit and turn left at the light at the end of the ramp. Turn left on to Darden Boulevard (Darden School of Business). Follow Darden Boulevard to the top of the hill and turn right.

TDM: Transportation Demand Management

Parking and Transportation has implemented an Occasional Parking Program for the Darden School Garage (D10). This program provides a book of 10 permits valid in the Darden School Garage that will allow the permit holder to park 10 times (up to 24 hours at a time) for a one-time charge (view current rates). U.Va faculty, staff, and students (other than undergraduate First-Year students) may participate in this program, making it a perfect option for frequent Darden visitors and Darden employees and students who normally bike or walk during clear weather.

To participate in the program and obtain your Occasional Parker Permits, please visit the Parking and Transportation Office located at 1101 Millmont Street, behind the Barracks Road Shopping Center.

The Darden School is serviced by the University Transit Service (UTS) Northline at two stops near the Darden School: The Upper Darden stop located near the front steps of the main Darden entrance, and outside of the North Grounds Recreation Center. The Darden Garage is serviced by UTS just outside the main entrance of the Darden School at the Upper Darden stop. Riders may also use the nearby stop located at the North Grounds Recreation Center.
